Seaspray Getaway in Sanibel

Seaspray is a beautiful stilt home nestled amid tropical landscape on Sanibel Island. This three-level home was completely remodeled from its original state with added luxuries for today’s lifestyle. The ground level includes a one-bedroom suite with its own kitchen and living space, an entertainment area and exercise room overlooking the pool and deck area. The pool has a wooded deck with a firepit for the cooler nights on the island. Coming up from the ground level, the original stairwell in the center of the house was originally solid walls from the entrance to the third level. The walls were all removed and redesigned with beautiful wooden railings which opened the view from front to back. As you ascend the staircase you are drawn into the living room which is the heart of the home. The front and rear of the house is adorned with large windows which bring the beauty of the outside into the whole house and allows natural sunlight in. Vaulted ceilings throughout the living area were enhanced by adding wood beams which coordinate with the hardwood floors and handrails.

The kitchen and dining room were redesigned with the latest appliances and a wine bar was created to entertain with the homeowner’s favorite collection of wines. The color scheme is made up of warm greys with accents of navy blue. Natural fibers and comfortable textures make this interior welcoming to guests looking for a getaway from their hectic lives. The main level has two bedrooms and two baths with private patios. An elevator was added for access to reach the third level of the house which includes the master suite, office loft and third room that could accommodate another guest if needed. The master bedroom is a large suite which overlooks the deck and pool area with lush island vegetation. Luxurious bedding and a soft plush rug add to the ambiance of this private room. The large shower in the master bath features a marble floor and walls and a soaking tub which sits on a decorative tile inset. This provides a restful retreat after a long day at the beach.
